The Circuit Court Chief Judge Mary B. Barglund serves her constituent as Circuit Court Judge in the counties of Dickinson, Menominee and Iron. She primarily handles all civil cases involving damages in excess of $25,000: felony criminal cases and domestic relations matters that do not involve minor children.
HON. MARY B. BARGLUND Judge Barglund is a native of Iron Mountain. She was elected to the bench in 1998. She began serving her first term on January 1, 1999. Judge Barglund now serves as Chief Judge of the 41st Circuit Court. Prior to her election, Judge Barglund was a trial attorney in the Brouillette Law Office law firm. She practiced primarily in the areas of personal injury litigation and criminal law for fifteen years prior to assuming the bench. Judge Barglund graduated in 1983 from Marquette University Law School. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Marquette University in 1980. She is a 1976 graduate of Iron Mountain High School. Judge Barglund and her husband, Kevin, have three daughters and their family lives in Iron Mountain. |
