Covenant Point is a year-round camp and retreat center with a Christian mission. The facility on Hagerman Lake includes lodging for 200 people and a dining facility to seat 125. They specialize in summer youth and family residential camps and back-country wilderness trips, serving over 750 campers every year.
Covenant Point is licensed in the state of Michigan and accredited by the American Camp Association. Additionally, they offer experiential education and team building services to schools and corporate groups. In 2016, they celebrated 90 years of ministry in Iron County.

Mainland: Grades 2-12
Classic, residential age-group camps that emphasize healthy relationships, growth, and skill-areas. For campers entering grades 2 – 12.
Island: Grades 6-8
Community, adventure, imagination, and growth come together beautifully on our 8.5 acre Island. For campers entering grades 6-8.
Trips: Grades 6 – 13, & Adult
Fully immerse yourself in the beauty of creation with a small community of campers and our trained guides. For campers entering grades 6-13, as well as adults.
Family: All Ages!

Outdoor Programming & Education
Fall Program Options (September – October):
Fall in Upper Michigan lends well to the variety of outdoor activities that we have to offer. Earlier in the year the weather is usually more conducive to outdoor activity.
- High and low ropes courses: Allow students to explore high ropes to get out of their comfort zones and challenge themselves in a unique way.
- Low Ropes Course / Team Building Initiatives: Allow students work together to find creative ways to accomplish a group challenge.
- Games: Be playful with games of camouflage, ultimate Frisbee, various tag and dodgeball games
- Archery
- Canoeing (12 canoes / 24 people)
- Kayaking (11 single kayaks)
- Apple cider pressing
- Campfire
- Interpretive nature trail
*For even more fall activities, utilize our 8.5 acre island (no electricity or running water): Island options include a 1 mile pontoon boat ride to our island, high and low ropes courses, rope swing, team building, campfire, games
Winter Program Options (December – March):
- Snowshoeing (20 pairs)
- Cross country skiing on groomed trails (30+ pairs of skis, boots, and poles in various sizes)
- Tubing on our hill (10 tubes)
- Broomball on a plowed court on the lake (up to 16 players at a time – helmets and sticks),
- Group initiatives (indoor)
- Climbing wall (indoor, 2 climbers at a time)
- Maple Syrup Process Demonstration and Lesson (late winter / early spring)
Spring Program Options (May):

Bring your own bag lunches, or we provide a hot lunch in our dining hall for $7.50/person
2016-2017 Pricing:
- Half Day Estimate: $21/student for half day (3-4 hours, usually about 9:30 – 1:30).
- Larger groups (30+) may require additional time to do the ropes course.
- Minimum number is generally 15 students, contact us if this is an issue.
- Teachers and chaperones come free (additional $7.50/hot lunch)
